No two ways about it! Long beautiful hair makes us look beautiful and is an important part of our appearance.

But getting those enviable locks requires a lot of effort and patience.

It takes some deliberate, consistent modifications in your hair care routine.

Don’t reach out for extensions or transplants yet if you are discouraged and not happy with your hair growth.

Follow these simple tips that will help you grow thicker and fuller hair much faster.

It gets even more important to take care of the appearance and health of your hair

Here are 5 easy tips to grow hair faster and denser

1. Go Sulphate free

Hair shampoos contain chemicals called surfactants, which help in removing surface dirt and grime from the scalp.

Most of them also contain Sulphate which makes it lathery and helps in pulling out the oil and grease from the roots.

But with all the debris these shampoos pull out, they also rip the hair off of all its moisture.

Lack of moisture makes it prone to more breakage, especially the chemical treated hair.

You can use a Sulphate free shampoo instead to avoid the damage.

Always dilute the shampoo and use. Dont rub it too harshly, just small circular motions.

Even if you are using a Sulphate free shampoo, you dont have to shampoo every time you are in the shower.

It will just over dry your hair, just the way your face would feel if you wash it every time you wash your hands ;).

Do a cold rinse at the end of each shower; it will help seal the hair cuticle, laying it smooth and making it shine by reflecting more light.

2. Stimulate your scalp

When you massage your hair with the hair oils, it helps to increase the circulation and blood flow to the follicles, speeding up the process of hair growth.

Just about 30 minutes prior to washing your hair, massage the scalp with hair oil in light circular motions.

The best oils for hair are Coconut oil, Argan oil, Eucalyptus oil, Castor oil and Olive oil.

For someone who doesn’t have the time to do so, I would suggest, just before going to bed, brush your hair towards the ends a couple of times to distribute the scalps natural oil and let it reach the length.

It helps increase the circulation and makes hair healthier.

3. Eat right

Your hair suggests a lot about your overall health and lifestyle.

Having beautiful hair is not entirely about products, a lot depends on what you put in your body.

You hair is getting the same nutrients as the rest of your body.

To promote hair growth, increase the intake of protein in your diet.

Even if you are a vegetarian, keep your protein game up by eating nuts, beans, lentils etc.

Even having hair growth supplements like B-vitamins are quiet effective in growing hair faster.

B- vitamins help in creating red blood cells that help to carry nutrients and oxygen to the scalp that accelerates the hair growth process.

4. Trim frequently

Split ends, if left untrimmed for too long will make the hair break from the higher side of the strand.

So, consistent trims are not only important for making the hair feel and look better, but also help reduce the breakage and flyaways.

5. Mask every few days

These several years old strands definitely need more than a conditioner if you want to keep them growing thicker and longer.

Chemical treatments, heat styling and oxidative stress from the environment, strips the hair off its proteins and making it more prone to breakage.

These hair treatments help to revive the essential nutrition and vitamins of the hair and help to seal in the moisture to make it grow faster.

Even the Botanical leave in treatments work very well to energize and stimulate hair growth.

They help to fill the hair strands with fatty acids and even seal it inside after the wash.

Use a pre-shampoo hair mask once in a while to give that extra nutrition to the hair and boost hair growth.

DIY Hair growth mask-

Egg yolk -2

Macadamia oil-1 tablespoon

Coconut oil-1 tablespoon

Egg yolk infuses the hair roots with vitamins and proteins and helps to grow new hair and reduce shedding and breakage.

The fatty acids of Macadamia oil help to strengthen and nourish the hair follicles and thicken the brittle strands.

Coconut oil stimulates hair growth by getting deep down to the follicles.

It also prevents split ends and breakage and contributes to shine and luster as well.

Full, healthy hair is an indication of youth because as we age, the hair tends to thin naturally and that is when it gets even more important to take care of the appearance and health of your hair.

Follow these 5 easy tips and make some simple lifestyle changes and you can grow those long, healthy strands.
