What Is Skin Detox And Why Do You Need It?

Wondering why the skincare that worked wonders initially, has suddenly stopped showing results?

Well, like all the other detox’s in your lives, diet, digital and relationship, you also need a skin detox.

It works like this- like all the other organ of your body, your skin gets affected by the repercussions of polluted air, poor diet, alcohol, alcohol, smoking, stress and even product buildup.

These are the 5 signs your skin needs a detox-

1.Your skin is dull and flaky.

Healthy skin cells are stacked with oils and hydration that keep the skin looking moist and supple.

Being continuously in indoor heat or conditioned air affects the natural oil balance of the skin resulting in flaky, rough skin.

In order to detox your skin, you can treat your skin with a herbal steam from time to time.

And follow by deep moisturizing it with skincare containing ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, petrolatum etc.

2. Your skincare routine isn’t really working well on your skin.

It can get confusing and even frustrating at times when your usual skincare isn’t showing the same results as before.

What you don’t know is that its not just about the skincare, it’s actually about the skin bearing all the buildup from the regular use of makeup, environmental damage and even consistent use of chemical based skincare.

Though your skin gets affected and reflects what is going on inside your bodies but it’s nearly impossible to live a stress free life, eating only pure food and breathing only clean air.  Just that from time to time you can give your skin some extra pampering that it’s craving for.
